MATTRESSES & BOX SPRINGS:We are sorry that we are unable to pick up mattresses and box springs from your home or business as a donation, but we are happy to accept those items at our aftermarket facility in SAN YSIDRO located at 630 Front Street, San Ysidro, CA 92173-3108.This facility is open 7 days. Please call for current hours:(619)428-2718. Directions from I-5: Exit freeway at Camino de la Plaza. Go left over the bridge to East San Ysidro Blvd. Go left at first signal onto Border Village Drive, bear left into Front St.
The state of California requires extensive refurbishing of mattresses prior to resale, and the cost of such refurbishing,sanitizing, and transportation exceeds the amount that we can sell these items for.
SOME TIPS FOR THOSE ITEMS WE CAN’T ACCEPT
We regret that we might be unable to accept all of the items you wish to donate, due to the condition of the item, current state or federal laws & regulations, or because we do not have the facilities to process certain items like building materials, appliances, in-ground spas, weapons, power tools, and hazardous waste.
