Zero risk and high reward. Goodwill is helping people with barriers to employment get paid job training.

Goodwill’s Paid Training Program is a three-month, hands-on, training program designed for people who have little to no work experience. Participants work part-time at 12 dollars an hour while learning retail and donations skills. Interested applicants can visit Goodwill’s Community Employment Centers and receive free assistance when applying.

Once the program participants graduate, they will be encouraged to apply for regular employment with Goodwill San Diego or other community employers. Participants will receive assistance from Goodwill Career Advisors to determine the right course of action when taking their next step. Goodwill San Diego uses the revenue generated from the sale of donated goods at its retail stores, after-market facilities, and online to provide employment and training opportunities to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment.
